The Realtime Int’l filmfest in Nigeria is to host Iran’s ‘The Wooden Doll’.

The 2021 Realtime International Film Festival (RTF) in Nigeria has been set to showcase Iranian short flick ‘The Wooden Doll’.

Written and directed by Mohammad-Reza Misaqi, the short film will be screened at the competition section of the 6th edition of the Nigerian fest.

The film is about a lonely Afghan boy who has lost his family in the war.

‘The Wooden Doll’ has Nabi Mohammadi among its cast members.

The film previously participated at the International Inter University Short Film Festival in Bangladesh, the Jharkhand International Film Festival in India, and the BUEIFF Channel film festival in Argentina.

The RTF aims to “to build a truly International, all-inclusive and remotely accessible Film Festival”. It champions an artistic baseline where equity and openness are enhanced among creative artists, filmmakers and film enthusiasts.
